Responsibilities

Supervisor functions as a supervisor in a clinical setting as a resource, educational support, communication liaison, quality assurance leader, and role model of professional nursing practice. The supervisor assumes responsibility for day to day operations and clinical coordination of the triage area. He / she will participate in planning, implementing, coordinating and evaluating patient care activities,staff education and management activities as delegated by the Manager.



Education
  • RN / BSN

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in home care services and / or triage.

Licensure/Certifications:

  • BLS
  • License Required: Current valid licensure in clinical discipline required.

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to apply clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and technological tools and resources to impact superior triage experience for all callers.

RN hires with less than 1 year of RN experience must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing (American Association of Colleges of Nursing or The National League for Nursing) which is inclusive of a clinical rotation in an acute care facility.

  • Full time position (40 hours per week)
  • Shift: Days (M-F)
  • No weekends
